For Social Learners in Grades 2-4 (as of September 2017) 

Session A: Monday-Thursday 9:15am-11:15am: July 10-27, 2017

Session B: Monday-Thursday 9:15am-11:15am: July 31-August 17, 2017

Children will learn the primary concepts of Social Thinking®.  They will develop the tools and skills necessary to becoming good social detectives.  Social detectives use their social smarts in all different places and situations.  Successful social detectives learn to know what is expected, can make smart guesses, and become better social thinkers.  Good social detectives are able to understand social clues, listen with their eyes and brains to determine what is expected, and learn how to remain being part of the group or interaction. Participants will:

  • Become familiar and learn Social Thinking® vocabulary
  • Become familiar and learn Social Thinking® concepts
  • Learn how to use our social tools to understand what is expected
  • Learn how to make smart guesses and become better social thinkers

In order to place group members appropriately, all interested participants must be seen for a social skills consult with the director, Arlene Rubin, M.A., CCC-SLP.

Social Skills Consult:  $80.00

Early Registration:  $1375.00 (By May 31, 2017)          Tuition:  $1395.00    (After May 31, 2017)

A deposit of $550, which includes a $50 non-refundable processing fee, is expected at the time of registration. Payment in FULL is expected by June 10, 2017. We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the schedule or to cancel a session. If GTP should need to cancel the session or if an appropriate placement cannot be made, GTP will fully refund your deposit and/or tuition.

All sessions are facilitated by a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist trained in Social Thinking®.

All sessions will be held at the office of Good Talking People, LLC
