Splash is an intensive 2-week speech-language intervention program to facilitate speech-language-communication and socialization skills of young children with an autistic spectrum disorder.  Intervention program will include group activities to build vocabulary, develop understanding and use of concepts, strategies to encourage the formulation of sentences to convey intentions, needs and ideas and pragmatic components of communication through thematic units.

Participants will:

  1. Increase understanding and use of vocabulary
  2. Increase understanding and use of basic concepts
  3. Improve syntactic skills for verbal expression
  4. increase awareness of communication for social situations

All participants will be required to submit a copy of their current IEP goals.

In order to place group members appropriately, all interested participants must be seen for a social skills consult with the director, Arlene Rubin, M.A., CCC-SLP.

 Social Skills Consult:  $80.00

Tuition:  $895.00 (total of 16 hours)

A deposit of $500, which includes a $50 non-refundable processing fee, is expected at the time of registration. Payment in FULL is expected by June 30, 2017. We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the schedule or to cancel a session. If GTP should need to cancel the session or if an appropriate placement cannot be made, GTP will fully refund your deposit and/or tuition.

A licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist conducts all sessions.

All sessions will be held at the office of Good Talking People, LLC
